Debi Navdurga is a handpainted Chanderi silk saree created as an ode to the nine forms of Maa Durga. At the heart of the saree sits the powerful Mahishasura Mardini, surrounded by handpainted depictions of all nine Navdurga avatars ,each beautifully brought to life through intricate detailing and traditional artistry.
The rich black and red palette gives the saree a powerful, elegant and timeless character, complemented by a beautiful zari border adorned with handpainted red and black floral elements.
The borders tell their own story — with graceful peacocks, Madhubani-inspired motifs, women and men offering prayers, and scenes of devotees playing the dhak, capturing the collective energy, devotion and celebration of Durga Puja.
Every detail is painstakingly handpainted, making each saree a piece of wearable art with its own character and charm.
The saree comes with a running handpainted blouse piece, specially created to complement the artwork of the saree.
