Inspired by the divine first meeting of Shri Rama and Maa Sita in the lush gardens of Mithila, this saree captures a moment that changed destiny.
Under flowering trees, in a serene bageecha, their eyes meet for the first time , with Lakshman ji and Sita’s sakhis as gentle witnesses to this sacred beginning. Along the borders, her friends are seen delicately plucking flowers, as if nature itself is preparing for their union.
Handpainted in rich multicolour on a graceful green base, and elevated with intricate golden zari woven into fine Chanderi, this saree is both festive and soulful.
