Katyayani: ' Krishna Leela' Handpainted Madhubani Tussar silk saree
Hand-painted Madhubani Pink Tussar silk saree with Lord Krishna
This saree represents our beloved Lord Krishna in Madhubani Art style. Depicting Yashoda Maa, the love between Radha & Krishna and the significant Events from Krishna’s life.
The speciality of this saree is that it has been sketched using Maroon colour and we havenot used black colour in it. We have had many queries in past for people who loved our collection but wanted a saree without black as they wanted to wear it for an auspicious event. We have created this saree keeping in mind this requirement :) Usually in Mithila painting the sketching is always done using black colour. But this one is unique and the borders have been created using Maroon colour
The significance of sixth day is to adore Goddess Katyayani. She is an incarnation of Maa Durga, shown to exhibit courage and known as the warrior goddess, she is considered one of the most violent forms of Devi.
Infinite courage, Intense passion and Love are the attributes to associate yourself with Katyayani.
Saree length : 6.5m including blouse piece (refer to the last picture)
Dry clean only. Since this product is handpainted, there might be slight irregularities and unevenness in the weave and painting. But that's the beauty of a perfectly imperfect handcrafted saree which is a complete labour of love.
Happily and proudly handpainted :)
