Hello, we are Sunanda & Geeti, mother-daughter duo, and run Mithila Arts authentic, hand-painted products boutique by the name of Geetanjali. We started this enterprise in 1995 in Darbhanga, Bihar to promote Mithila Folkart and also give the talented women artisans a platform to showcase their talent and earn a livelihood. A touch of magic, added by us, makes each piece one-of-it’s kind and exclusive.
Today our team of more than 100 women artisans, design and make a blend of modern and traditional, hand-painted Madhubani art on sarees, bedsheets, cushion covers, dupattas and more.
