Presenting Onanidhi — a radiant jewel from our newest launch, Onam Varnam. ✨🌸

True to its name, Onanidhi (meaning “the treasure of Onam”) is a celebration draped in colour, culture, and craftsmanship. Inspired by the raw, earthy charm of Godna painting, this handpainted saree reimagines ancient tattoo motifs in a graceful, modern drape.

This handpainted saree captures the essence of festive soul — where every stroke echoes joy, and every motif whispers tradition.

Godna painting is a traditional style of Madhubani art that draws inspiration from tribal tattoo patterns. Rooted in the customs of rural Bihar, it features bold geometric motifs, dots, and lines, often in monochrome or limited colors, reflecting the raw, earthy beauty of body art on fabric.

The aanchal showcases intricate motifs based on traditional Godna themes, depicting age-old symbols and tales in a refined black colour palette, accented with delicate golden zari for a festive touch.

The borders reflect the elegance of Madhubani’s signature styles – a striking blend of Bharni and Kachni techniques – and are adorned with Godna motifs and floral bootas, creating a rich, narrative textile canvas.

A saree that speaks of legacy, strength, and quiet beauty — made for the woman who carries her roots with pride.
